4Casio twin sensor watchAug 30, 2010
Casio makes some of the most dependable watches on the market. The compass and the thermometer are very accurate.

5A nice watch.Aug 29, 2010
This watch is a nice little watch, it feels solid, looks solid and has a more expensive look. The picture make this watch look big, but its really an average sized watch, with a medium sized bezel.

The watch is water resistent but I have not taken it any deeper the 5 feet :) so I cant account for any scuba diving... But it works for what it is meant for. The compass feature shows both the compass and temperature, but the watch needs to be taken off for thirty minutes in order for temperature to work accurately. Both functions work good enough but it should not be taken as a true compass or thermastate. This watch only has 4 alarms, so coming from someone who expected it to have 5 alarms, its a downside. Although, I have not woken from any of the alarms by themselves, its good for reminders.

Also, YOU MUST READ THE MANUAL, otherwise you wont have a clue as to what to do in order to work your watch. It doesn't take long, but you will have to read text that is smaller than an ant in order to figure it out. (Recommend to read Casio's website manual for this watch).

4Good Watch is as Advertised!!Aug 26, 2010
I'm in agreement with a lot of the reviews. For the money, it's a good watch and you get what is advertised.
GOOD:
Time display layout, backlight, world time feature which is set to geographic locations, stop watch with split time, countdown timer with minute intervals. Special note on the compass/temp feature. Once you calibrate it works fine. Sometimes you have to recalibrate it but if I were going outdoors and calibrated before I got started I think you could depend on it. Yes as others have mentioned, I get more accurate readings of temp when leaving it off when those ambient temperatures are cooler, which should be obvious. It seems the hotter the ambient temperature the more accurate it gets regardless, which makes sense to me as ambient temperature increases it's going to be more of a factor than your body temp. Either way it does work.

NOT SO GOOD:
What keeps it from 5 stars for me. Is the alarm features, which is something important to me. 4 alarms 1 snooze and an hr signal. Ok well good luck hearing this and probably forget hearing this if you are asleep. I really wish some type of vibe was standard on all digital sport watches like the ones on the cheap hunting/fishing Casio pathfinders (I have two of those). I would probably pay beacoup bucks for a quality G-Shock that had that. Again not a deal breaker for the money the other features certainly make up for it.

4Mikey likes it!Aug 25, 2010
At this price point, there is lots to love. After calibration, the compass function works great, the many alarms are helpful, the numbers are large and easy to read, and you can wear it swimming. The thermometer is fun, but you must take it off your wrist for awhile to get a decent reading. All in all a terrific buy.

5Expectations exceededAug 24, 2010
Excellent sports watch. It looks better than the pictures. You just don't know until it is on your wrist. Not too big. Doesn't look cheap. Even the band looks good, and is comfortable. Time is way more accurate than any watch I've ever owned. Functions work great. No, I'm not surprised that the thermometer is influenced by your wrist temperature. The compass works great, provided that you are not in a metal building or sitting in front of your computer, and you do have to calibrate it first, no more complicated than setting your alarm clock, or setting the time on your VCR. If that sounds scary complicated, you may want to stick with an analog watch. Also, you can't tell by the pictures, but the numbers are sharp and clear, even in sun light. My eyesight isn't too great, but I have no trouble reading the smaller characters.
